I've spent a lot of time focusing on my web life. Now I'll provide my recommend apps! Primarily all freeware!

Audacity: Amazing audio editing program
Revo Uninstaller: Remove that stubborn program and all it's trailings.
CCleaner: Clean that garbled up registry and hidden files.
uTorrent: 2.0.4 is my goto. Great torrent client.
VLC: Plays nearly all media files I throw at it. (AVI's and MKV's usually)
Google Chrome: Make Web Browsing a treat!
Paint.net: Light weight image editing for those little things.
Notepad++: Always need a good text editor
LogMeIn Hamachi: Make multiple machine use an easy thing.
Dropbox: Sync files to access anywhere! (See link below)
Recuva: Rescue those deleted files like they were never gone
Synergy: When you have more monitors than mice!
Foobar2000: Handles nearly all the audio files I need to play. Flac too!
ImgBurn: Burn and create ISO's with ease AND complex features.
